With the Vet a casa service, I offer you a veterinary visit at home, just like in a doctor's office, but with the comfort and peace of mind of being at home.
I come to your house to visit your canine or feline pets, avoiding the discomfort and stress of travel.
Doing the checking at home allows me to assess the patient and their environment much better, especially important in the case of cats. We also avoid the transfer and the waiting times with the distress that this means for the pets.
The aim is to be able to provide you with a quality and above all personalised, close and reliable service.
The rates are similar to those of a veterinary clinic with a little added cost for commuting that varies according to the distance from Badalona.

a hobby that came to me as a child: after volunteering at a shelter, I started working as an assistant in a veterinary clinic in the region of Osona where I was born.
Very concinved about my vocation, I studied veterinary medicine doing internships and stays in reference hospitals and centers in Catalonia.

After starting as a veterinarian at the Hospital Veterinari de Montigalà (Badalona), I decided to start this new professional stage in 2018 to offer a personalized, close and quality service with the convenience of receiving a home visit. Over 1500 patients and 1000 owners later, whose comments you can find in the reviews section and on Google, I remain more motivated than ever to continue treating your beloved animals with all the attention and care they deserve.

Home visits, both for cats and dogs, with the ease of attending the patient in a known and trusted environment.
Deworming
Deworming pets is essential for their health. It eliminates unwanted organisms such as fleas and worms, but it also prevent diseases and improve the well-being of our domestic animals.
Electronic identification
Electronic identification of pets is essential for their protection and well-being. Using an implanted chip, your pet can be easily tracked and identified in case of loss or emergency.
Passports and official documents
Have the required official documentation to be able to travel with your pet and have the peace of mind of having all required vaccination and conditions for a safe trip.
Clinical Analytics
We extract or collect samples at home, and if needed we can send the analysis to reference labs for all kind of tests.
Humanitarian euthanasia
Being able to be there with your pet in a calm, familiar and intimate environment at home is a special way to let them go peacefully
Referring patients to hospitals
If a surgery or a hospital is required for some treatments, we will refer you to the most appropriate centers depending on each case. Subsequent follow-up, we can do it again at home, as they send us the report when leaving the hospital.

A fantastic veterinarian! Very friendly and pleasant, one of those people who seem to know you all your life and who convey confidence to you from the very beginning.
She took a lot of time to get to know our cat well, review her entire history and make a super complete file. And the best thing is that she didn't just focus on her pathology, but on her well-being in general: she gave us lots of advice to make her adaptation and stay at home easier and more pleasant, she paid attention to a lot of details and helped us see little things that we could improve.

Gemma is a true professional. Having her perform a check-up on your garden table or sofa is a real treat for my cat. No more suffering and stress in the carrier! She's always caring and attentive whenever you ask her something. If you have an urgent question and she can't come in right away, she'll help you as best she can over the phone. It's reassuring. I wish we had met her sooner; my baby would have been spared so much suffering.

There are not enough words to express the infinite gratitude we feel towards Gemma. Yesterday was one of the hardest days of our lives when we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Nica, due to her serious illness.
From the very beginning, Gemma demonstrated impeccable professionalism and exceptional human warmth. She explained the entire process to us with a clarity and serenity that helped us stay strong for Nica. But the most important thing was the compassion and affection she showed towards her.

Gemma always so nice and attentive. We have chipped our cats, and whoever comes home has avoided 3 trips to the street, with what that means for cats that are afraid to go outside. Gemma came to my house for the first time last night to help me say goodbye to my kitten Nina. We moved here from the UK and we're so lucky to get Gemma as our dog's vet- she's just the kindest and professional, really care about your pet! She made sure my dog had all correct paperwork, really checked his health and she stays in touch via messages if you have any additional queries.
My dog developed allergies and every vet in the UK was just sending us with antibiotics saying it's some inflammation just to come back in 2weeks time. Gemma recognised it's an allergy so we could start some treatment and relive my dog from itching & chewing. She's not the vet that stays with your dog for 5min - she will really try to understand the problem and explain to you every step which is really helpful. Additionally, all done in English if you don't speak Spanish and she comes to your house, great comfort for my dog.

Why are there only 5 stars? And why haven't I found her years ago? Only can talk in superlative about Gemma. Very professional yet sensitive and human at the same time, treats the owner as well by explaining everything in a language of the "common people". Her love for animals is obvious, the best vet I have ever met and (although money doesn't matter when it comes to the beloved furry ones) also an unbeatable price. Absolutely recommended!
